Once upon a time...
The first idea
to start something like Deviated Presence came after my
thrashmetal band Saniture had broken up in spring 2001 after some
time of differences and a demo record presented live. As I had
been searching for good, motivated musicians to play complex
melodic deathmetal for almost three years, I decided to do it all
by myself. The music had to be profound and harmonious, but as
well very angry. After the first attempts to record
"Release" I made the decision to produce a whole
demorecord. By spreading this I hope to find musicians who want
to persecute this style with me and enable playing live-gigs.
My later (meanwhile ex-) girlfriend urged me to carry this demo to the public
more than I would have done of my own accord,
thus word about us was spread in advance.

Old statement about the first demo-CD:
Meanwhile there are three more songs, "The Mist", "Amok" and the cover
piece "The Riddle" which are only available on the internet where new provisional versions of the music will appear until the album is produced, which will approximately be released in the fall of 2003... Besides the newly added musicians will partly adjust the lines of their instruments in the old songs and entirely contribute their own ideas in the new ones.
this demo CD is a collection of my ideas from the time till April. The pieces have developed on guitar, then I have come up with the tracks for the other instruments,
so that one could hear how it was meant to be. Finally I recorded all of it. Taking into consideration that I have produced the CD by myself and wih little technical means, the sound is quite okay. Therefore I am taking it to the public more offensively, than I had planned. New songs are being written, which will complete the material for the Fall's Passage album. If you want to check it out, you can do so under ->Music or drop me an email, transfer 4 Euros and you will receive this half hour of music by mail.
